How to Stain a Desk HutchHi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I'll be talking about staining. For this hutch I'm going to be staining it in a golden oak color. I chose this color because it should match well with our existing desk. To apply the stain I will be using this staining pad, these will work really well and help you get a little more even coat when staining. I'm going to apply a fairly liberal coat of stain, I'm going to do this for the whole desk and then let it soak in for a couple of minutes before wiping it off.
