Decipher the Materials Needed for a Sawhorse

Hello! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be talking about the materials needed for building our sawhorses. With these sawhorses I've chosen to build, we don't need many materials. The first materials that we will need are 9 2x4's. Now you want your 2x4's to have a length of 8 feet or 96 inches. This will give us all the material we will need for building our sawhorses. Next we will need either 2 1/2 inch or 3 inch screws depending on the availability; either one will work. Now I've chosen to use a untreated lumber. The reason for this is because it is a little bit cheaper plus I am mainly going to be using these sawhorses in my garage where there won't be any weather that is going to get to them. If you are using your sawhorses in an environment where it can weather damage, you may want to use treated lumber.
