Storing a Belt Sander

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of ExpertVillage. In this video clip, I'll be showing you how to store your belt sander. The first thing you need to do is make sure and empty the bag when you're done using it and ready to put it away. Next, you need to wind up your chord around your belt sander. Now, you don't want to wind it too tight because you don't want to damage it. So, I'm just winding it fairly loosely. It is always good to have a proper place for all of your tools to go. Here I have a slot made for my belt sander. You want to make sure that you're storing your tools in a cool, dry location. This will just prolong the life of them.
