The Streamline Position for the Freestyle Stroke

Hi, I'm Olga and I'm Rotem. We're former professional swimmers and we're here on behalf of Expert Village. Each stroke requires you first to learn the streamline position. So today first we'll show you the streamline. Start with putting two hands one on top of the other, taking it up so they're really close to your ears. Make sure the elbows are straight not bent, straight. Now you'll see it from the other side, so you can see your head is between your arms and straight. Now if you want to watch it like how it would look in the water, this is the position. You're lying in the water, your head is half out of the water, half inside of the water, hands straight and this is the streamline position. Now the streamline position from a different angle.
