Hi! I'm Leah from Refuel Spa and on behalf of Expert Village. In our next segment, we are going to be showing you an eyeliner application. When choosing an eyeliner, you can kind of again go with that comfort level with the client. Do they like the smokey eye or do they tend to go very natural. Now, because our client is very young and fun and hip, we can actually play a little bit with her eyeliner today. I'm going to show you a little bit of a cat eye effect. Something very easy to achieve and also a little expert's trick to kind of smudging out those errors that we, even as experts, tend to do when we apply eyeliner. I'm going to choose a black eyeliner for our client. Again, because I am doing kind of a smokey eye effect, you'll want to stick with those shades. Because her eyes are green, she can really wear a lot of different shades sticking with a little bit warmer tones. Again, with the coolness of her skin, you're going to want to go with that black, basic black. You're going to have your client go ahead and close her eyes. I'm going to begin my application actually at the corner of the eye because I'm going to take this corner up a little bit to create a little bit of a cat eye. Again, going with that theme we elongate the eyes. Go ahead and open. Perfect. And close. The Youngblood eyeliner, because it's made with nutrients and great ingredients for the eyes, it's not hard to apply. It goes on very easily, although it does not smudge throughout the day. Go ahead and open. You can see how I took that line just a little bit over where her natural line would be, just to create a little bit of the cat eye effect. Since not of us are perfect with that application, specifically our clients that are at home, you can actually take a little bit of a darker shadow. I chose raven today. Tap a little bit of that in the lid. Use our angled brush. We're going to dip that right in there. We can even wet our brush a little bit if we want to almost create like a liquid eyeliner effect. I'm going with that smokey trend, so I'm going to take this dry right over that line to correct any flaws or areas I might have missed with my eyeliner application. Go ahead and open. I typically like to just touch under the eyes. I think gone are the days where we applied eyeliner all the around the eyes very thick and dark. It almost closes the eyes, so almost just going on the outter corner very soft line. It'll still give you that smokey effect without having to weigh down the eyes. Watch our next segment on mascara application.
