It is important to take out everything you need before you start to make sure you have all your ingredients, it is all so important to make sure that all of your ingredients are at room temperature. We are going to use today 6-8 cups of flour, 2 cups of water, 1 tablespoon of salt, 2 1/2 tablespoons of yeast, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup of honey, 1/4 cup of oil, we would need a additional egg for egg wash glaze, and some optional raisins if you want that is a traditional filling for the challah dough, and poppy seeds and sesame seeds our traditional toppings for the callah dough.
