How to Aerate Compost
So now let’s talk about each element in the compost separately. Air is a very important ingredient. And the way that you aerate your soil is by fluffing it. To do that you use a turning fork. And every couple of months- this compost is ready to be used, so once this is used, I will turn the new compost into this bin- every couple of months I will turn it over and that aerates the compost. And I do it with a turning fork like that.
