On behalf of expertvillage.com I'm David with Friendly Computers and I'm here to tell you about the advantages of using a wireless connection for internet and gaming. Now, what a lot of people like to do when it comes to the internet, they have just their one machine, but they want to get more than one PC into their house, all connected, but wires can be such a pain sometimes. That's where the wireless comes in very handy when you get your wireless routers or wireless modems. You will be able to connect a lot more machines or laptops without the clutter of wires or cables spread out across your house. Now, this also comes in very handy for some of you out there that might like to do what is called land parties. You get multiple people, all in one place with their computers, you can also do that with the wireless if you're going to do that with the wireless I definitely recommend you using either a gaming router or even better the Belkin N1 series router because it does have a higher frequency, higher bandwidth to be able to support everything that you want to do. You will be able, with the wireless, to be able to also move around your house. Be able to be out by the patio, on the couch, wherever you want within your house. Just be able to relax not be stuck to one location. If you are wanting to get on your favorite game or if you want to just surf the internet. In my house, I have 5 machines hooked up one hard wired in and the other 4 wireless. It can be done and it definitely works great because we don't all have to be in the same room and it does not cost a lot to go wireless versus the cost of re-wiring a house to be able to go hard wired into everything.
