Kneading Apple Pie Dough
Hi I'm Karen for Expert Village now we would add our ice cold water we are going to add tablespoons at first. If it needs more then we add another 2 up to another 2, 4, dont get that ice cube 5. Now we dont want to over work this dough at all so we are just going to stir it in until it starts to form a ball and then we will stop. Okay I think this needs a little bit more water we would add another tablespoon and just kind of spread it around in there. Then continue to stir that. When it feels like it is coming together then we would put it in our work surface. I think is ready, lets get our work surface out. We will flour that a little and turn the, it is very crumbly but that is fine. We dont wnat ot over work it we are going to gather it up into a ball and we are going to cut this in half cause this is for a two crust pie. Just gather this up into a disk and shape it we will wrap that with plastic wrap and get it to the refriderator to rest. Here we go now we are ready to make our pie filling.
