Adding Nuts To Chocolate Ganache Cookies

Hi! On behalf of Expert Village my name is Andrea Spano and I'm going to show you how to make Ganache from my new book "Not Just Desserts." Welcome back. As you saw, I dipped these already chocolate chunk cookies into the ganache to half cover it. Of course you can cover it totally, but that might be a little bit too much richness. What you can also do is I've chopped some regular peanuts. You could take any kind. You can use cashew peanuts. Pistachio would really add a beautiful color to it. Here I just took regular peanuts and all you do is cover them. Now, I know some people are allergic to peanuts so you can eliminate that from your recipe. You can just have a few of them with nuts. Also, you can take colored sugars. You can add sprinkles. Children love the rainbow sprinkles, so that would be a great treat for the kids.
