Hi! On behalf of Expert Village my name is Andrea Spano and I'm going to show you how to make Ganache from my new book "Not Just Desserts." So now we're going to show you different ways of using ganache; it's very versatile. As I said, it's very different from any other chocolate icing because it's not sweet and it's not too much. It has a very mellow flavor and rich chocolate flavors to the your brownies. Brownies are already very rich and you don't want to really add a very sugary type of icing. What we're going to do is I've taken a basic store bought brownie mix and I've prepared it according to the directions and baked it in an 8 inch square pan, which is perfect for one box of brownie mix. I particularly like to use Duncan Hines because it has a rich flavor. You can get get a dark chocolate fudge flavor that they have, and this is the one I used today.
