Activated Abilities in Magic The Gathering
What’s up guys? This is Jerome with Gamers Enclave. You can visit our website at www.gamersenclave.com. I am here to talk to you guys about triggered abilities and activated abilities. There is a law that we have the burning forest who here has a triggered ability which says that at the beginning of each players upkeep put a one one green creature token into play under your control. So what happens is during the upkeep step you get a creature one creature and you put on your control. Now these abilities here from these guys are triggered abilities actually activated abilities and what they do is there is a cost when you play their ability so for this guy it says that you tap him and what he does you add one green man. All you do is tap, you get one green. For this one, you tap him and you sacrifice a creature. What you do is return from your graveyard to play and you can only play this ability during your upkeep. So what you do is tap him and you sacrifice a creature which means you put any creature into the graveyard.
