How to Play Cards in Magic The Gathering
Welcome back. I am David Morgan with Gamers Enclave and I am with Jerome. What’s up guys? In this segment, we are going to explain the second main phase in the end of your turn. Combat has already been resolved. First main phase is already done and the second main phase is similar to the first main phase in that you can play any creature and if you have not played one already, sorceries, instance, artifacts and this time I am going to play my Thunderscape Battle causing three mana. Put that down. That is the end of my second main phase giving Jerome a chance to respond to any instance that he may have. Because I do have an instance I will go ahead and play it, tapping the appropriate mana. It is an instance and what it does it says target player sacrifices a creature. So I go and choose my opponent David and asking him to sacrifice a creature. Now I get to pick a creature to sacrifice. I am going to sacrifice my grasshopper. And he goes into the graveyard and this spell resolves. Now the end of your turn, you have to discard down to 7 cards. Now as you can see I have 8 cards in my hand so I have to discard 1 card. I am going to discard my Brushland and that also goes to the graveyard. Now I am down to 7 cards and now I can pass the turn to Jerome.
