Sorceries & Instances in Magic The Gathering

What’s up guys? This Jerome from Gamers Enclave and I am here with David Morgan. We are here to talk to you guys about sorceries and instants. Now sorceries can only be played during your turn and instance can be played at any turn. First we will go ahead and cast a spell. This card is sorcery. It cost one mana, one black mana, tap my mana and what it does is it says look at target in opponents hand and choose a non-creature card there. That player discards that card. So what I am going to do is look at David’s hand, choose a non-land creature card. He is going to discard that to his graveyard. This spell resolves and the card goes into the graveyard and I am going to pass the turn to him. Okay now, at the end of his turn I am going to play what is an instance. I am going to tap two mana because that is the cost. It deals one damage to each creature targeted upon a control. Now looking at these creatures, he only has one creature that has the power Gives this card to his card file and also goes to the graveyard. And it would be my turn.
