On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Dan Head. And, today we're going to talk about how to self publish your own comic or graphic novel. To continue about how much you will pay to make your comic, I will personally say that sixty dollars for professionally pencils is on the extreme low side. The best that I've ever known anyone to do, and this is me, as far as hiring known name talent is probably about a hundred dollars for paid pencils and inks. Now, that's for professional quality work. But, then again, if you're talking about competing in main stream American market, you have to have professional quality work. Now, there's also coloring to consider. Coloring is going to run you anywhere from say ten dollars a page on the low end to fifty or sixty dollars a page on the high end. I would say that you could probably find decent colored for around thirty-five dollars a page. And then, there's also lettering to consider, as well as, prepress. For lettering you're probably looking at least five to ten dollars a page.
