The Medium Close Shot for Comic Books

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Dan Head. And today, we're going to talk about how to self publish your own comic or graphic novel. Now, when we talk about medium shots, those again break down into three types. You've got a medium-close shot, and then your straight medium shot, and then a medium-long shot. A medium-close shot is essentially a medium shot, but where the subject is more than half the panel. For example, this is an example of a medium-close shot. It's also what we call a bust shot or sometimes I call a hero shot. And, it's, it's just a, it's a three-quarter image that focuses on the figure more than the background, but it's not a closeup. This is another example of a medium-close shot.
