Enjoying a Child's Off-Beat Behavior

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Sally Head and today I am going to tell you how to nurture your preschoolers imagination. Enjoy the offbeat and off times. For example, if your child wants to wear the ballerina costume to the grocery store, that's fine. It's just trying to be something that somewhere else is different from being at home. But just be careful because if they want to start doing things that may not be appropriate, this is where you may have to step your foot in. For example, one day my daughter just wanted to be a bug and she wanted to hop all the way to the car and hop into the grocery store. Again, I let her hop to the car but not in the grocery store. That wasn't really cool. So just encourage them and at the same time be manageable when they want to do something off to when they should be doing something on. But encourage your child's imagination as often and as many times as you can. On behalf of Expert Village, thank you for watching.
