How to Read to Children

On behalf of Expert Village my name is Sally Head and today I'm goign to talk to about how to nurture your preschoolers imagination. Okay now we are going to read Little Quack by Marie Thompson. Do you remember what the duck says, Anna? Quack, quack. Quack, quack yes. Oops lets turn to the front page. "Mama duck had five little ducklings Wittle, Waddle, Piddle, Puddle, and Little Quack. They all leaved together in a nice soft nest. But even mamas littlest duckling is not so little anymore "it is time to leave the nest" she said one day. "Come little ducklings" mama called. "Paddle along the water like me". The five little ducklings squeezed close to the nest "no mama no" they cried "we are to scared". "You can do it" mama said " I know you can count along with a quacker later no ducklings in the pond. All at once Wittle felt very brave she jumped in the pond swish "look" she cried "look at me".
