Arm Lift Lotus Arm Balances in Advanced Yoga

Hi! My name is Leta Koontz and I'm a yoga instructor at Schoolhouse Yoga in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I'm here today on behalf of Expert Village to teach you some arm balances. If you're able to get in lotus go ahead and bring your right foot in and your left leg up. We're going to hands into same position that we've had them all along where our palms are on the floor shoulder distance. This time though we're going to tuck our elbows in slightly towards one another. We're going to bring elbows in to our mid section, we're going to bring our chest forward, and we're going to bring our crown of our head towards our tailbone. And to come out of the fold just release the feet and bring the knees to the floor. Good. Let me show you that from a different angle. Again, coming into lotus. Bring the hands to the floor. Again, scooping the elbows in. When you're ready to come out of the pose.
