Press & TV Appearances: How to Get a Record Deal

Hello! On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Barry Bergman and today I am going to give you tips on how to get a record deal. You can also create a press buzz you know and get a lot of great reviews on your album, demo and get the press to follow you as you play out, go after local radio stations to play your music if it is possible to get them interested and also go after various TV opportunities that may exist and all of this can help you get a record deal. You can also get your song in a film, in a TV show like Dawson's Creek and this has really brought attention to a lot of new music and you had Lisa Lobe several years ago who got signed as a result of having a song in a film and there are a lot of filmmakers that are very conscious of the music that they put into their films because music a lot of times makes for a great film.
