Questions & AnswersHello! My name is Grady Johnson and I'm a professional painter and today I represent expertvillage.com. Now we're going to talk a little bit about pressure washing walks and decks. Whenever you're pressure washing a walk, this concrete can get really, really stained. Therefore, you do want to use the bleach tip. You see I have that big bleach tip on here now. Cover the area with a good bit chlorine to start. Notice it's just a regular strength. That syphon is pulling that chlorine up in there. This is chlorine bleach, and we're going to soak it all good with the chlorine bleach. Once you have the area covered with chlorine, change out that tip to something sharper you can work with. Go ahead and finish out the work. You'll notice when you get in close with this pressure washer it will make little lines in the dirt lines. So when you're cleaning it up you want to even that out. Sometimes if it's too clean in one area and too dark in another it's going to look terrible so be sure you even that all out so it looks good and then the bleach should do the rest of the work for you. You can see that it's kind of coming up in rows, so you want to even it on out so it looks even. There's a lot of deck to do here, but this is how you pressure wash the deck and how to use chlorine to bring it back like new.
