This is Kyle with Expert Village and we are talking about some preferences and settings on Adobe. So go to the edit menu, go down to preferences. This is really important, your scratch disc. Now you want to make sure that this is on your system drive. You want to make sure that this is not on the same drive that has Premiere on because it could chop it up, make it run slow. So typically if you have an E drive, second drive or a third drive, that is what you want to use for this project. So I typically use all of them as the same. If you have a third drive, it is even better. You could put your conformed audio files or maybe your video previews and audio previews in a separate hard drive than your actual files. That is personal preference. Now on your default of your duration of your still images, now if you are doing a documentary where you are brining in lots of still images and it is kind of a slow paced thing, then you might want to bring that up to 175 or more frames. Typically I keep it pretty small just to be a few seconds cause for the most part, my stuff is faster paced so that is what I am using.
