Browsing & Folder Options in Adobe Premiere

This is Kyle with Expert Village and we are talking about some preferences and setting on Adobe Premiere Pro. Now if you want to browse your folder, this is where you want to save your folder. Now make sure you don't save it on the same drive that your Adobe Premiere Program is running on which is typically your master, like your C drive. You want a special folder usually on a second or third drive. If you have a third drive, that would be great because video takes up a lot of room so you want to make sure you have the room there. Now on the three tracks, we are just going to start with three tracks for the video and three stereo tracks on the audio. This is a real basic setup but for right now, you want to stay away from mono unless you specifically have something that you need mono and you want to stay away from 5.1 if you are a very beginner because sometimes it can get a little bit confusing and that would be a whole another section in itself. But as far as just a basic mix, this is where you would set it up. If you want to tackle 5.1, go ahead and start setting it up here on this page on the new project window,; so hit okay, name your project and you are ready to roll.
