How to Play Pictionary
Hello, my name is Melissa Schenk on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're learning some basic tips for playing the game Pictionary. So in our first clip let's first go over of course the equipment, contents of the game and also the object of the game. Now when you first open up your Pictionary box you're going to find a few things, of course a game board, a 1 minute timer, 500 word cards in that box there, 4 markers and some dice and of course 4 category cards and 4 pads of paper and 4 pencils, that's the contents of the box. Now let's talk about the object of the game, the object of Pictionary it is this, it's to identify through sketched clues as many words as necessary to advance to the finished square. You'll see the finished square on the board itself, as you see we're demonstrating, right there and you want to get to the finished square and correctly identify the final word. Now you have to keep in mind that sketches can't include things such as letters, numbers or the number symbol, we'll talk about that in an upcoming clip. Now that we've gone over the equipment in great detail and we also know the object of the game, let's get into actually the preparation needed to play the game Pictionary.
