The Rolling Knee Bar Move in Sambo Martial Arts

On behalf of Expert Village I'm Stephen Koepfer at New York Combat Sambo in New York, City and today we are going to be doing advance sambo. Our first advance clip is going to be a rolling knee bar from the turtle position so I my find myself and this is called turtle position on my hands and knees. My opponent is on my back and when his leg is between my 2 legs I'm going to roll underneath, reaching my arm just like a forward roll, tucking between our 2 legs and rolling on the shoulder that is closer to you. So from here roll under, grab his leg, to the knee bar position that we have learned before. It is very important that you roll deep underneath your opponent or else you would mess his leg and the knee bar would not be tight. So don't roll forward, roll deep and back.
