Learn Basic Tips for Cutting Wood with a Jig Saw

Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be showing you how to cut wood with a jigsaw. First off you want to make sure that the material you are cutting is firmly positioned and secure. Next before you start you want to make sure the blade is a little bit away from the material that you are going to be cutting. You also want to make sure that your shoe is positioned securely on top of your board. When I make my cut, I am going to slowly feed the jigsaw into my wood and I am going to let the blade cut at its own speed.
