Keep Yourself & Your Work Area Safe When Using a Jig Saw

Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be talking about additional jigsaw safety instructions. Because your blade does extend below your material, you never want to reach your hand under it because it could get cut. You want to always make sure you are using a sharp blade. A dull blade could cause the saw to swerve while you are cutting. If you happen to be cutting into a wall, you want to make sure and watch out for any type of electrical or electrical outlets that are wired through the wall. Lastly you want to make sure you have a good pair of Z87 approved safety glasses and you might also want some hearing protection.
