How to Secure your Custom Oak Desk in Place

Hi this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village, in this video clip I will be talking about placement and securing our desk. Our desk would need to be placed in the corner so we are going to go ahead and move that back there. Now if you remember correctly we designed it a little shorter on this side so that a computer would fit in here and it looks like it turned out pretty nice. Additionally we have designed so the rear we could have all the cords going off the back side of it and that turned out really nice with that wall also. The next thing I'm going to do is put a few screws up underneath the deck into the studs of the wall. Now this desk is going to act as a work area and I don't want it to move around at all so this is really going to secure it both to the wall and so it won't wiggle around any. Now that we have fully secure our desk we ready to put the keyboard drawer on.
