Questions & AnswersHi this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village, in this video clip I will be showing you how we are going to attach our sides and our back to our top. Now that I have done all my sanding I'm ready to attach my sides and my back to my top so I went on ahead and flip my top upside down because we want those to be attach to the bottom side of it. I'm first going to attach my block to the back piece and I'm going to sit my back piece up onto my table top. Before I put my wood screw in I'm going to coat the thread in wax you could also use a soft bar soap. What this will do it will help the screw go in alot easier. Once we have connected our back we can move on to our side pieces. Now I want a overhang of one inch all the way around my desk so I'm going to measure in and make a mark. With my side position I would have this much of a overhang. Now that our three pieces have been installed we are ready to measure and layout for our skirt board.
