Using Baking Paper To Bake Sheet Cake
Hi, I'm Karen for Expert Village. For the second method of preparing our pan, we'll need some baking paper and some pan spray. You can get the baking paper usually in the wrap section of the grocery store. We're going to fit the baking paper exactly to our pan, so this baking paper is a little bit big, I'm going to just fold it down and then I'm going to trim off that extra edge. It doesn't have to be so straight or even, I find that this method gets the cake out of the pan a lot better and more reliable than the other method of using grease and flour. Just spray that pan nice along the edges and just lightly on the bottom enough to hold the paper down. Place your paper in there and shift it down a bit to cover the bottom.
