Threading In Breakdancing: Part 2

Hey! How you doing? This is Jonathan Escotto, also known as B-boy Xcel on behalf of Expert Village, and today we're showing you breaking tips. Now we're going to talk a little bit more about threading. Now again, threading is a technical aspect of footwork. Now threading, there's no set way to thread. A thread can be your own movement. There's a billion types of threads, you want to make it your own. I'm going to show you a couple other threads that I do that you can use.Take them, flip them, make them your own. Okay. Now, you can thread with your clothes, you can thread with your body. There's a billion different threads. I'm going to show you. This would be more of a body thread, this is a back thread. I'm going to show you this way so you can see it. Take you back foot, hit it down, grab your heel, bring your foot through, throw it out. That's a simple back thread, okay. So it'll look something like this. Say I did foot work, here, 1, 2, here, thread, throw it out. Simple thread. You can also thread with your clothing. If you want to get a little fancy, you want to throw cool little movements in there, there's a bunch of different threads. This is another body thread. Left knee up, hand here, you're going to take your right hand, bring it through, freeze, come back, hand, bring it through again, grab your pants in the back, bring it around the knee, step through, grab, pull thread. That's another different thread. Now you can combine those 2 threads that I just showed you in any different way. Now, you can do something like this. Okay.
