Preparing the Soil for Your Corner Garden

Hello! My name is Jose Zuniga and I am representing expertvillage.com. I tell you we are getting closer to our project 3every minute. We've pulled out our palm tree already but you know what? You got to soak it. Why? Look at the roots. They are extremely dry. You can see it throughout the plant. Dryness everywhere. We want to help it. We want it to be in total force like a new plant. You know pull out any leaves or anything that is there. What we are going to do is we are going to submerge it in this bucket that I have filled half-way with water. We are going to let it rest there for about an hour and what it is going to do is help it maintain the moisture that is necessary for the roots and also for the rest of the trunk right here, for the tree. When it goes to his new home, it's not going to be in tremendous shock. We are helping the roots grow and maintain that moisture. When you do it for other plants that you purchase already comes in one gallon or smaller containers, do the same thing. You want those roots to maintain the moisture. Just pour it in the container. Let them sit for about an half hour and just check them now and then to see if the moisture level is there and just pull them out. Okay, this is what we are going to do. We are going to submerge our palm tree here. We are going to let it rest for 1 hour and then it is going to be ready to go to its new home and this is how we soak a palm tree for gardening.
