Tips for Eye Movement in On Camera Auditions

Hi, on behalf of expertvillage.com I'm Lori Wyman from Lori Wyman Casting in North Miami Beach, Florida and today we're going to talk about on camera auditioning techniques. Now we talked about eye contact, but we did not talk about eye movement. Eye movement is also very important when you're auditioning. You don't want to be one of those people who blink all the time, because that doesn't look very good on camera or sometimes an actor closes his eyes every time he speaks. Well then you're not make eye contact with the camera or with the person who is watching you. Eye movement is very, very important, as little as possible is your goal. So make sure when you're speaking to the camera you blink as little as possible. If it's possible to do the dialogue without blinking at all, well that would be the best. But if you have to blink, then make sure you do it suddenly, small and very infrequently, you do not want to blink on camera. Once again this is Lori Wyman from Lori Wyman Casting in North Miami Beach, Florida and on behalf of expertvillage.com I'd like to thank you very much for watching.
