Hi, on behalf of expertvillage.com I'm Lori Wyman from Lori Wyman Casting in North Miami Beach, Florida and today we're going to talk to you about on camera auditioning techniques. When you're doing an audition, sometimes there may be more than one person in the room. Sometimes there may be the casting director, the director, a producer, the writer, there many be several people in the room, so it's very important that you ask who am I reading to? What I mean by that is which one of those is doing the dialogue with you, because sometimes the person who is reading with you may not be the person who is behind the camera and that can throw you off a little bit. Let's say the person who is auditioning with you is sitting over there, so initially when they speak your eye line is going to go there, but you're suppose to be looking at the lens of the camera, uh-oh, what do I do? Well if you find out who you are auditioning with from the very beginning, then this will help so that as soon as you hear the voice your head doesn't turn. Make sure you ask!
