Hi, on behalf of expertvillage.com I'm Lori Wyman from Lori Wyman Casting in North Miami Beach, Florida and today we're going to talk about on camera auditioning techniques. Don't forget to breathe! Can you believe that when I get actors who come in to audition, they actually forget to breathe, doesn't that sound silly? Of course it does, but what happens is actors come in here they get a little jammed up, they get a little nervous and they take the mark and they want to get all of their dialogue done in one breath. But if you don't forget to breathe and it paces your dialogue delivery. It also brings oxygen to your brain, opens up your brain cells, let's you think a little more clearly, calms down the nerves, helps you do your dialogue better. Breathing is a better tool to accommodate the actual delivery of the dialogue, so don't forget to breathe.
