How to Stay in Character in On Camera Auditions

Hi, on behalf of expertvillage.com I'm Lori Wyman from Lori Wyman Casting in North Miami Beach, Florida and today we're going to talk to you about on camera auditioning techniques. This segment is very important when auditioning for film work television. You must always make sure you are in the scene whether or not you aren't talking, what do I mean by that? Picture a conversation, I'm talking, you're talking, I'm talking, you're talking, when you're talking you do not want to see the top of my head. Many actors will come in here and think that because they are not speaking, they do not have to do anything. Absolutely you must do something every time you are in a scene whether you are talking or not, make sure you stay in the scene when you are auditioning. It is very, very important that we see your face and it's very important that you react with the person you are speaking to. Be right back!
