How to Dress in Character for On Camera Acting Auditions

Hi, on behalf of expertvillage.com I'm Lori Wyman from Lori Wyman Casting in North Miami Beach, Florida and today we're going to talk to you about how to prepare for on camera auditions. It's very important that you dress appropriately for your character. Now let's say that I'm auditioning for a business woman, well what I should do is come in with a business suit. Because don't I look much more professional with my jacket on than with a plain t-shirt? Of course I do and it's very, very important that when you are auditioning for a particular character, you dress in character. Make sure you have the proper wardrobe, make sure from head to toe you are dressed appropriately for that character. That doesn't mean shorts, flip flops and a business jacket. That means the business jacket, the entire suit, the appropriate shoes, your hair, makeup, jewelry is all in keeping with that character.
