How to Prepare a Resume for Acting Auditions
On behalf of expertvillage.com I'm Lori Wyman with Lori Wyman Casting in North Miami Beach, Florida and today we're going to talk about how to prepare for on camera auditions. Some of the tools that are really important for you to prepare before your audition are you head shot and your resume. Let me talk about your resume for a second here, I don't know if the camera is going to pick this up, but this basically is a sample resume, it's on one sheet of paper and your name would go to the top and any unions that you're in, your agency name, contact, phone number and any of the credits. Now, maybe you don't have theater credits and don't put theater on the resume, film credits, theater credits, TV credits, commercial credits, anything that you have done in front of the camera or on stage would go on your resume. Then towards on the bottom here we have special skills, because sometimes your special skills can also enhance your market abilities, maybe you scuba dive, maybe you sky dive and also sports and training. So make sure you have a complete and up to date resume before your audition.
