Hi, this is John on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I'll be talking about the tools and the materials that we're going to need for our project. The first thing that we're going to need is new siding, now these sheets come in 4 ft wide by either 8 or 9 ft tall. I went ahead and measured and ours are 9 ft tall. Next you'll need some trim boards, the boards I've chosen to use are made of pine, they're 1 inch by 8 inches by 8 ft. What we're going to do with these is put them up and then we'll prime and paint those so they'll last a long time. The next thing you'll need is galvanized nails, now the reason why we choose these is because they don't rust and they hold up better over a long period of time. The main tools that we're going to be using are speed bars and hammers and these are going to help in the removal and installation process. In addition you might need a saw to cut some of the trim boards.
