The Preferred Homing Pigeon Color

My name is Joseph Shung Chiang Lee and I am the member of the Calcutta Racing Pigeon Club. There are different colors in the racing pigeons. The color which we prefer are dark colored. There are dark checkers, blue checkers and there are red colors also which are called red checkers and the red bird without the checkers they are called the mealey. In the racing pigeon, the white color are not preferred because when they are flying in the sky, if there is any hawk to attack them the hawk mainly targets only for the white birds because they can be easily targeted and then more-over the white feathers, after racing continuously when you come to the long distant race you will find all this feathers will get burned out. They will all separate out. So white colors are not preferred in a pigeon and I think with that, I conclude.
