Homing Pigeon ID Tags

My name is Joseph Shung Chiang Lee. I am the member of the Calcutta Racing Pigeon Club. Now I am going to show you the identity of the pigeons. The racing pigeons are identified by the ring they wore on their legs. You can see in this ring the racing pigeon club is written, the year is written plus the number of the ring is 83 so this is 83 number; it is the identity of this pigeon. So when this pigeon goes for any races, when he enters the race, this ring number will be checked and will be put in the form. When this pigeon comes back from the race and he enters the loft, the judge will ask the fancier to bring the pigeon out and the judge will see the number. The number on the ring and he will check to see if that number is on the racing form or not so that will prove this pigeon has entered the race. Then after that what thing the pigeon has gone inside the loft will be written on the form. Then of course all of the form
