Hi, my name is Julio Anta from Anta’s Fitness and Self Defense in Miami, Florid. Our website is www.antakungfu.com. We are going to demonstrate now a stepping side kick. In a stepping side kick I am going to go slow first and then I will show you one. I am going to step behind, lift the knee to chamber, moving a little further then I am going to pivot the bottom of the foot, push it out, in and out. So it is going to look like this if I were going to try to hit her in the head. Hit, Hit, okay. And the way that we demonstrate this, Jeanette comes over here. Jeanette is going to step behind, she is going to lift into her chamber, she is going to push and bring it back in. Ready, move, move, move, move. Okay stop. The most important thing to do here is power comes from this pivot. The bottom foot is going to do this. As you are kicking while you are chambering up to protect your groin and vital points not to get hit, then you are going to push with the heel. Okay.
