Hi everybody, Malik the magic guy with expertvillage.com. Now for another cool technique it’s called the tulip twist and this is actually some semi advanced stuff but it’s kind of neat, you can do a lot with it so I want to show you this we’re going to use this later on in some other stuff. Now for a tulip twist you want to take your balloon and you’re going to take your finger and just push the knot inside the balloon just like this…so you’re now pushing your finger into the balloon, now what you want to do is grab from the outside and grab the knot and slowly slide out your finger so this is the scenario you have. So now you actually have a section of balloon and the knot pinched right here with your finger and thumb, now you’re going to take this and twist off a bubble and the knot will actually lock it from the inside and if you squeeze a little bit of air from the tail up now you have an inverted tulip looking thing that will actually stay together and that’s a tulip twist. I’m going to run through that one more time for you so you can see it more clearly, so we take our balloon, take your finger you push it right inside just like that, you’re going to grab the knot from the outside now if you’re going to ever pop a balloon making it this is where you’re going to pop it, you can kind of see in there the section of the balloon and you’ll see up close when you’re practicing especially if you’re using some more transparent balloons and you twist that just like that and that’s going to hold itself together and later on we’re going to do some work with this like the flower and you know I’ll show you some other ways to use the tulip twist, cool technique you should practice that.
