Ladies Cross Body Lead Step for Salsa Dancing

On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Christopher from Mr. Dance Pro of South Florida and I'm Kelly Anne from 56Dance. We're going to be showing you and explaining and teaching some salsa basics and techniques and how to enjoy salsa dancing on every dance floor you may go. Lady's footwork for the cross body lead is...she goes right, left, right, and left, right, left. Okay again, she's going to go back and side, forward, turn, a step back. One more time with counts is quick, quick, slow, and quick, quick, slow. With number it is 1, 2, 3, hold 4, 5, 6, 7, hold 8. And with directions it is back, and side, forward, turn, back. One more time back, and side, forward, turn, back. A social dance variation for cross body lead, if you are on a crowded dance floor, is going to be she's going to go back and side, forward, turn, side. Again, right, side, and left side. With counts it is 1, 2, 3, hold 4, 5, 6, 7, hold 8. Rhythm, it is quick, quick, slow, and quick, quick, slow. With direction it is back, side, forward, back, side.
