Enjoying the Creative Process of Needlepoint Tapestry

My name is Francie DeMun. I am speaking on behalf of Expert Village. I am a tapestry artist. Something that as an artist I just want to share which you know whether one is an artist or an aspiring artist or whatever. There is such a joy in the creative process. So even though I can say oh it takes 4 to 6 months and all this about the body, there is a place that one gets; its meditative, it’s a connection to yourself, it’s a connection to God, a connection to the world, connection to other times. There is a joy in the process itself and of course if you happen to like what you made, that is really nice. Each of my pieces I must say it is like giving birth. Each one means so much to me and yet just those with children I am so ready when I am done to find the perfect home for them and know that they will go and give someone else joy.
