Making Changes in the Tapestry in Needlepoint Tapestry

My name is Francie DeMun. I am speaking on behalf of Expert Village. I am a tapestry artist. But something that I want to mention using the word perspective, I have a couple of artists friends that are very well known artists that say my work is amazing because I don’t draw it everything seems to be in perfect perspective. That may be true in the finished product by along the way in the journey I can spend a month putting something in and stand back and feel that it is not right. As a painter will wipe the thing clean, I have to undo every stitch. It takes as long for me to undo my work as it does to put it in. I have to turn it over and on back of the canvas cut absolutely every single stitch, pull it out one at a time and start all over again. I’ve done that each one of these has huge places where it just did not feel right to me. So that is part of my process to.
