Clean Out an Electrical Outlet Box

Hi! This is John on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I will show you Part 3 in replacing an old electrical outlet. Next what we need to do is go ahead and put wire nuts on our wires, and this is just a safety precaution. The next thing that I am going to do is vacuum out the box. A lot of times over the years you will get dirt and debris and spider webs into these boxes, and it can possibly pose a fire hazard. This will just really ensure that the box is as safe as can be.
