Filling Old Holes Left From Old Blinds

So the next step is to sand these holes when you take out a screw. In addition to the hole you leave, it also builds a mound around the outside. Even if you fill these holes, it will still be noticeable through the paint if you didn't sand this down so go ahead and sand it down first. After you get it sanded down so it feels flush, you will fill the holes. So to fill these holes since these are wood, you could use wood putty or you could even use spackle since we are going to be painting these rather than staining them since I have spackle spackle is good. Use that drywall compound material, scrape it smooth and then we will come back and sand it after it dries.
