Sprinklers & Watering the Garden

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Craig Morrell I’m with Landscape Restorations in Miami, Florida. We’re here at Palm Hammock Orchid Estate in Miami, Florida talking about basic gardening. In doing your gardening projects some animation can really be a big help to you and one of the neatest little tools on the market are some of the new battery operated sprinkler timers. Thread on of these into your hose tap, thread a hose onto this end of it, set a program and it’ll do the watering for you while you’re away or during the establishment phase of your gardening. These are a real life saver, especially if you’re going to go on vacation, these things water things for you anywhere from one schedule per week, up to 6 or 8 cycles per day. They run on double A batteries and they’ll run for a year in a set of batteries. These little guys can make your life so much easier, they take care of the watering for you while you’re gone and sometimes when you need a little extra water, you don’t have time for it. These little battery operated timers can be, had at Home Depot, that sort of a store or from gardening catalogs online and so forth, huge help.
