Materials Needed to Build Storage Shelves
Hi! This is John on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip I will be talking about the materials that we would be needing for our storage shelves. Our first material is OSB; OSB is kind of like plywood except it is made of little flakes of wood glued together. For my shelves I'm using 3 sheets of 7/16 inch OSB now this sheets come in 4 feet wide by 8 feet high. The next thing that I would need is plenty of 2X4s, now the 2X4s that I bought where 8 feet long and I bought 20 of them. Lastly we would need some long screws and we would need some short screws, now for my long screws I'm using 3 inch deck screws, for my short screws I'm just using some left over dry wall screws.
